Marc Jacobs, Justin Timberlake and Kate Moss

English: My favourite photographer, Annie Leibovit has taken some pics for Vogue USA. You can see those pics in  2009 May Vogue. The first picture is called "inspiring beauty". The picture represents the 3 Fashion icons, Justin Timberlake, Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs. 

In the first week of May, Justin will be co-hosting the Metropolitan Museum of Costume Institute Gala with Kate and Anna Wintour. The theme will be "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion".

For that reason in the second picture you can see Kate Moss wearing a Oscar de la Renta`s dress looking like a muse.

Español: Mi fotógrafa favorita, Annie Leibovit ha hecho unas nuevas fotos para Vogue USA. Las podrás ver en número de mayo de la revista. La primera fotografía llamada "inspiración de belleza" que representa a tres iconos de la moda, Justin Timberlake, Kate Moss y  Marc Jacobs. 

La primera semana de mayo, Justin seráwill be copatrocinador en el Metropolitan Museum of Costume Institute Gala con Kate y Anna Wintour. El tema será "La modelo como musa: incorpoa moda".

Por eso en la segunda foto puedes ver a Kate Moss vistiendo un vestido de Oscar de la Renta, como una musa.

Andy Warhol & Esquire

English: When I went to NYC a few days ago I went to MOMA and I saw this original picure. It´s a Esquire´s cover. It was created by George Lois to ilustrate an article on the decline of the American avant-garde, Lois created this witty spoof on Pop art by drowning Pop superstar Andy Warhol in soup. He dropped a ball bearing into the soup can to create the void and asked Warhol to pose as if drowning. Warhol loved it so much that he asked Lois to trade this original artwork for an actual soun can painting.

Español: Cuando estube en Nueva York hace unos días fui al MOMA y vi esta original fotografía. Es una portada de Esquire y la creó George Lois para un artículo sobre la decadencia del vanguardismo americano, Lois creó parodia on Pop art ahogando a la estrella del Pop Andy Warhol en sopa. Lanzó una pelota en la lata de tomate para crear la profundidad y le preguntó a Warhol para para posar como ahogandose. A Warhol le encantó la idea tanto que le preguntó a Lois para negociar la original obra de la lata por la nueva.

Scarlett Johansson & Moet Chandon

English: Now we can see the new Moët & Chandon campaign. The Hollywood actress, Scarlett Johansson, has been chosen to be her debut as the first ever celebrity ambassador for the champagne house. Scarlett says she is excited about her new partnership with the brand: “I am honored to have been chosen as their ambassador and to make history with the brand, as the first celebrity face of champagne.

She looks wonderful wearing evening dresses. The dresses are so glamourous, they are golden, champagne and black. Those colours mean elegance and this is what the house want to be, a elegant brand. Sometimes we have seen Scarlett Johansson wearing old-fashion clothes, but when She wanna be sexy she is the best. We can see her in Vogue Paris or also in Dolce & Gabbana campaing, She looks wonderful. I think She is so sexy but just when she makes an advertisment or movie. Maybe because She could be shy and doesn´t want to be too sexy when she choose her own clothes.

Español: Ahora podemos ver la nueva campaña de Moët & Chandon. La actiz Scarlett Johansson ha sido elegida para ser su debut como la primera celebrity que va a ser imagen de la casa de champagne. Scarlett dijo que estaba entusiasmada con su nueva relación con la marca: "Estoy muy orgullosa de haber sido elegida como su imagen para hacer historia con la marca, como la primera celebrity del champage.

Ella está increible vistiendo trajes de noche. Los vestidos son muy glamurosos,empresa quiere ser, una elegante marca. A vece hemos visto a Scarlett Johansson vistiendo modelos un tanto desfasados, pero cuando ella quiere ser sexy es la mejor. Hemos podido verla en Vogue Paris o en el anuncio de Dolce & Gabbana, ella se veía increible. Pienso que ella es muy sexy, pero que solo cuando ella hace un anuncio o película.  Quizás porque ella es tímida y no le gusta parecer demasiado cuando ella elige su ropa.

English: Long time ago I wanted to write a post about Jon Kortajarena, because he is the most famous model from Spain. At the frist time Andres Velencoso was the most famous model from Spain, but now I think could be Kortajarena. Both are very good doing their job, but Kortajarena has something who Velencoso doesn´t have. He can be elegan, informal and also so sexy. The Tom Ford or Diesel´s advertisments are an example how Jon can be really sexy and also how Jon has worked for impacting ads. 

He has been worked for Chanel, Guess, Tom Ford, Etro, Giorgio Armani.... I´ve selected some of  his new campaigns. What are your favourites? It´s really hard to answer this question for me, because I love many of them, but I think my favourite could be Tom Ford´s campaign, with the champagne bottle. But also I like John Richmond and Diesel´s campaign.

Español: Hace ya un tiempo quería escribir un post sobre Jon Kortajarena, porque es el modelo español más famoso. Al principio el más famoso era Andrés Velencoso, pero ahora yo creo que es Kortajarena. Los dos son buenos haciendo su trabajo, pero Kortajarena tiene algo que Velencoso no, puede ser elegante, informal y además muy sexy. Los anuncios de tom Ford y Diesel son un ejemplo de como Jon puede ser muy sexy y hacer anuncios impactantes.

Ha trabajado para Chanel, Guess, Tom Ford, Etro, Giorgio Armani... He elegido algunas de sus nuevas campañas. Cuáles son tus favoritas? Es dificil de contestar esta pregunta para mi, porque me encantan muchas. Pero creo que mi favorita es la campaña de Tom Ford con la botella de Champagne. Pero también me gustan la de John Richmond y Diesel.

Buddakan NYC

English: I´m in New York and yesterday night I went to have dinner to Buddakan which is a trendy restaurant where you can find the most beautiful people in New York. And also the restaurant design is so cool. It´s a mix. It´s a colourful asian design. You will love it. 

I knew this restaurant because I read about it a blog but I had no idea that this restaurant is where Sex and the city movie was. I Knew about that yesterday evening after to got my reservation. Because I went to see Manhattan with Sex and the city tour. They show you many places in Manhattan which you can watch in the show or movie. We went to see this restaurant, because is the place where is the engagement party and also the New Year Eve in the show. Recomendation: to drink Champ and to eat Shrimp Dumplin

Español: Estoy en Nueva York y ayer por la noche cené en Buddakan, que es un restaurante muy moderno donde va la gente más guapa de todo Nueva York. Además el diseño es muy guay, es una mezcla. Es un colorido diseño asiático. Te encantará.

Conocí este restaurante a través de un blog y no tenía ni idea de que era donde se rodó la película de Sexo en Nueva York. Me enteré de esto después de reservar, porque fui a  ver Manhattan con el tour de Sexo en Nueva York que te enseña los sitios que salen en la serie y en la película. Fuimos al restaurante porque es el sitio de la pepida en la película o la fiesta de año nuevo en la serie. Recomendación: para vever Champ y para comer empanadas chinas de gambas.
