Stoker - a movie by Chan-wook Park (Director Old Boy)

En mi búsqueda de películas para matar el aburrimiento encontré Stoker. No había oído de ella. Sí que me sonaba el cartel, pero al ver el reparto con Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska y Matthew Goode no pude resistirme a verla y que gran acierto. La película es de esas películas que empiezas a disfrutarlas desde el principio, con cada escena, frase... De hecho recuerdo una cita muy buena: 

"A veces me pregunto porque tenemos hijos. Y a la conclusión a la que he llegado es que queremos que alguien lo haga bien está vez. Pero yo no, personalmente hablando, no puedo esperar a ver como la vida te despedaza". 

In my movie searching to kill the time I found Stoker. I haven´t heard of it before. thanks god!!! good choice.this kind of movie,I enjoyed since the beginning,the quotes where really good. I like this one:

"You know, I've often wondered why it is we have children in the first place. And the conclusion I've come to is... At some point in our lives we realize things are screwed up beyond repair. So we decide to start again. Wipe the slate clean. Start fresh. And then we have children. Little carbon copies we can turn to and say, "You will do what I could not. You will succeed where I have failed." Because we want someone to get it right this time. But not me... Personally speaking I can't wait to watch life tear you apart".

Cine - Enter The Void

Ayer vi Enter The Void. Es una de esas películas, como Requiem por un sueño, en la que la cámara se convierte en el propio personaje, que a través de movimientos, luces, voz en off y música es capaz de transmitir sensaciones al espectador. La película me ha gustado bastante, aunque he de advertir que conviene estar preparado para verla. 

Yesterday night I watched Enter The Void. It's one of those movies, like Requiem for a Dream, which the camera takes a important role. It is able to express feeling to the viewers with camera movement, music, lights, voice-over and music.  I really enjoyed the movie, but I should advice that you must be prepared to watch it.

Los soñadores (The Dreamers)

Al ver la nueva campaña de Prada me he acordado de la película Los Soñadores, de Bernardo Bertolucci, en la que Michael Pitt (que es uno de los modelos de la campaña) interpreta a un estadounidense que vive en París y conoce a dos hermanos (Eva Green y Louis Garrel), con los que pasa el verano.

La película puede contener algunas escenas un tanto desconcertantes para algunos, pero merece la pena verla por las citas de películas clásicas que se mencionan a lo largo de la película, así como los gags que aparecen. Mis favoritas son las escenas de Banda aparte, La Venus rubia y la Reina Cristina.

Al ver la película de La invención de Hugo quedé fascinado por el trabajo de Meliés y su película Viaje a la Luna. Tal fue mi obsesión que empecé a investigar hasta que descubrí que la película había servido de inspiración a Queen y The Smashing Pumpkins para uno de sus videoclips.

When I watched the movie Hugo, I fell in love with Meliés' work and his movie Trip to the moon. I've investigated about the artist and I've discovered that this movie was an inspiration for Queen and The Smashing Punkins' videos.

Albert Nobbs

Llevaba bastante tiempo queriendo ver esta película pero al final no me ha gustado mucho. La película está bien hecha, la interpretación de Glenn Close es brillante, pero un poco aburrida. La historia se hace muy predecible.

This is the movie I've been anxious to watch for a long time and now I can say that I didn't like it so much. The movie is well done, the performance by Glenn Close is brilliant but a bit boring. The history is predictable.

La nueva campaña de Missoni es cuanto menos original. La colección está inspirada en España, y para rendir nuestro país ha contado con la participación de Pedro Almodovar, Rossy de Palma y Blanca Suárez.

El sitio elegido para la sesión ha sido nada más y nada menos que Villa Rosa, uno de los bares más auténticos y castizos de Madrid, que fue donde Almodovar rodó la escena de Miguel Bosé cantando "Un año de amor" en Tacones lejanos.
