English: The second day we went to Agra by train. It's not really beatiful city, but it's where Taj Mahal is, so you have to go there. There is also a fort, where the emperor who built Taj Mahal used to live. I really enjoy to came here because my friend told me the history about Taj Mahal and I imagined to live in this time....
Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. built one year afer his wife died giving a birth his 14 daughter. It's totally symmetric, with the exception of the emperor tomb. Because it was made after Taj Mahal was built by his son. Shan Jahan tried to build a black Taj Mahal in the other side to the river (like a negative, black and white, everything should be symmetric). But Shah Jahan was deposed by his son Aurangzeb and put under house arrest at nearby Agra Fort, because he was spending all the money with the new Taj Mahal. He can watched Taj Mahal by a window. Upon Shah Jahan's death, Aurangzeb buried him in the mausoluem next to his wife.
If you look at the other side to the river you can see a tower which is exactly than one of the Tah Mahal tower....It's magical!!!

Español: El segundo día fuimos a Agra en tren. No es una ciudad muy bonita, pero es donde está el Taj Mahal, por lo que no te lo puedes perder. Además hay un fuerte, donde vivió el emperador que construyó el Taj Mahal. Me encantó la visita sobretodo porque mi amiga me contó la historia sobre el Taj Mahal y podía imaginarme vivir en aquella época.
Construido por el emperador Shah Jahan en memoria de su esposa favorita, Mumtaz Mahal. Construido una año después que su esposa muriera dando a luz a su decimo cuarta hija. Es totalmente simetrico, a excepción de la tumba del emperador porque fue construida después que el Taj Mahal por su hijo.Shan Jahan intentó construir otro otro Taj Mahal en negro al otro lado del río (como un negativo, blanco y negro, todo debía ser simétrico). Pero fue encerrado por su hijo Aurangzeb en el fuerte, ya que se estaba gastando todo el dinero con el nuevo edificio. Desde la ventana de su cuarto podía ver el Taj Mahal hasta que murió y su hijo mandó construir un mausoleo junto a su esposa
Si miras al otro lado del río puedes ver una de las torres del edificio que estaban construyendo.
Además he subido la famosa foto de Lady Di cuando fue a visitar el Taj Mahal sin su marido en 1992.
