Español: Cada vez más las empresas empiezan a tener en cuenta el medio ambiente. Timberland ha llevado esto a tal extremo que ha diseñado incluso el calzado ecológico con el sistema doble vida. Que es un sistema en el que una vez usado el calzado es reciclable 100%, solo tienes que entregarlo en una de las tiendas Timberland y ellos se encargan de enviarlo a la fábrica donde lo desmontan y reciclan cada una de sus partes para así poder usarlo nuevamente. Las suelas de caucho, los forros, las piezas de metal, el cuero... todo es reciclado y usado para fabricar nuevos pares.
Desde mi punto de vista es una idea genial, porque así no solamente te llevas unas botas, sino que también te llevas la conciencia tranquila sabiendo estas ayudando al planeta y con ello a ti mismo, esperemos que las empresas empiecen a tomar ejemplo.

English: More and more companies becometo aware of environment. Timberland knows that and has designed a eco-friendly shoes with "second life" system which is a program to recycle the shoes. When they are old or you don't need them anymore you just have to bring to a Timberland store and they will send them to the factery where shoes will be removed. They will get the rubber, metal, leather... Everything and then they will use it to make new pair of shoes.
I think this idea is great, because when you buy a pair of shoes you help the environment. I hope companies learn about it.
